Amigos Mexican Restaurant And Cantina: A Flavorful Journey in Eureka Springs

We had a nice time at Amigo's and thought the Chips and Salsa were excellent. The chips were thin and crispy but held up to holding salsa well. My wife and I split the Mocajete and I ordered an single carne sope. She loved the chicken and said that it was very tender. I liked the steak pieces and thought the shrimp was very good. We really loved that when we asked for some additional corn tortilla's they alternated the corn and flour tortilla's so that my wife and I could easily eat without moving to much of the food that we were eating. The service was decent, though the server we had seemed a bit distracted at times. I had a Cherry Limeade alcoholic drink that actually tasted pretty good.

The tacos plate was real good. The beans that came with it were perfect and just the right spice. The enchiladas to me were dry. The cheese enchiladas set up to quick. The cheese dip and cheese sauce was too creamy/thick. The enchiladas to me seemed to be the same as another Mexican restaurant in the same area. Look forward to trying more out from here in the future. Definitely recommend the tacos.

Food was good and came out quickly. The single server was very busy so we didn't see much of him, however we had everything we needed so that wasn't an issue. I liked that they have a vegetarian section, that makes it easy.

We came here for dinner on a Friday night and had great service and food. If you want to beat the dinner rush, go between 5 and 6. There was no wait for outdoor seating with our dog. It was a bit hot that day but it’s all shade and they had a fan so it wasn’t uncomfortable. Server was super friendly, service was fast and the food was good. Spicy margarita is huge and tasty. Husband had a burrito which was large and I had chicken tacos. Seriously good food and would make it my regular Mexican spot if I lived there! Oh and can’t beat the prices!!

I've been here multiple times and the food is just unbelievably delicious all the time. This time Gino recommended Vallarta platter which had the most tender and juicy beef and perfectly fried shrimp and onions. Must try dish

Best shrimp meal I’ve had in a long time. Everything was good. I don’t think you can go wrong. The regulars eat here too.

Overall, I enjoyed our visit here. It is always fairly busy from walking past, so we finally gave it a chance. The atmosphere is fairly standard fare for a Mexican place. The staff that we met were friendly and helpful. We had many visits during our meal to make sure all was well. The salsa and chips were pretty darn good in my opinion. The rest of the food was about average in my book, but I've been to some pretty dang good Mexican places. I'd go here again. Their prices were pretty reasonable for the location.

Dog friendly on the outside patio. Very friendly staff. Portions were generous. The quesoberia tacos were amazing. Properly fried so they held up to being dipped. Very tender and juicy The beef fajitas came out sizzling, nice large strips of beef. Tender, but could use a little more spice. The guacamole was also tasty
